WHAT NOT BRING - Prohibited Items
The University reserves the right, at its sole discretion to deem other items prohibited.
-Alcohol, alcohol paraphernalia and alcohol-related materials of any kind.
-Drugs, drug paraphernalia and drug-related materials of any kind.
-Tobacco related materials, including vapes.
-Firearms, weapons, chemicals, fireworks, explosives, CO2 paintball guns, knives over 4in.
-Pornographic materials of any kind
-Non-issued furniture (unless approved by Residence Life)
-Wall-mounted shelving, anything mounted to walls or furniture using nails or screws
-Amplifier, including DJ equipment
-Personal internet routers
-Items hanging from the ceiling
-Extension cords, or surge protectors that are not UL certified, are over 6 ft in length or are not grounded.
-Dart boards and darts
-Public signs of any kind
-Fog/smoke machine, strobe light, heat lamps, lava lamps
-Heat producing appliances such as toaster ovens, space heaters, electric blankets, grills, griddles, electric pans, heating coils, hot plates, incense, candles (clothes irons, hair irons, and coffee pots with auto shutoff are permissible)
-Christmas lights or hanging lights
-Pets (except fish with a 10 gallon tank limit)
-Other items at the discretion of C-N Residence Life
